Roger, I actually agree with you. Social media is not web 2.0 or vice versa. I mentioned that, ultimately it is the "buzz" that makes any web 2.0 app/portal successful - its widespread integration into other services or creation of other services based on it. But, again, the "buzz" is not possible without a "community" of people adopting it and discussing it.

I did not mention microformats and semantic search - which are also fundamental to web 2.0 apps/portals. thanks for mentioning it in the video!

Well I did say if we didn't agree it would be about interpretation not core :)

I am glad you liked the video, I am pretty green at them so if you got something out of it that is always good.
