I have found just using Disqus has impacted how many comments I get so I would imagine being part of a larger community like Webjam could have an even more impressive impact.

Love what you guys are doing, keep up the good work!

Re: SocialWebTV, Feedly, FriendFeed, Webjam and more…

Thanks for the mention buddy!

Like you say, we'd love it if you were to move over to Webjam or at least develop some kind of presence with us but can certainly understand why you are happy with Wordpress and indeed we're not looking to compete on blogging functionalities since that's certainly not our forte.

One advantage that we do have for publishers is the social networking aspect. We've seen that once a blogger does establish a little network on Webjam, the level of interaction (i.e. number of comments/cross-links) on their blog is actually much higher than for a standalone blog which isn't able to take advantage of the social graph that exists around it.

./m

Re: SocialWebTV, Feedly, FriendFeed, Webjam and more…

Hi Nils

Thanks for dropping by, and offering your feedback. I should mix it up and
PIP is a great idea I had never thought about. I wonder how hard it is to
do, would you know?

I will definitely take a look. Thanks for the compliment 'a great job' as
doing them and watching myself I always feel like a dweeb.

Cheers

Re: SocialWebTV, Feedly, FriendFeed, Webjam and more…

From doing just screencasts at work I know how hard it is to talk and think at the same time and still sound coherent. You do a great job. One big disadvantage about video posts is that they're rather static. Maybe you can add some screenshots in between, or - ideally - use screencasting with PIP.

The big advantage of video, of course, is that you don't have to write, and I don't have to read, so keep it up.

(Oh, and I should've responded with video, but I don't have the gear handy here, so sorry)
